When this customer originally approached me with custom design of a circular office desk, I was skeptical as to the functionality.  After all, why would one want a circular office desk in the world of right angle objects!   His wife pulled me aside and shared that he had built a cardboard template and that if I wanted the job to listen, not talk!  After building it and sitting at it I started to see the ergo dynamic beauty and function of it.  Everything was in hands reach and the shear span of the surface allowed three or more projects to be open, spread out and dealt with at the same time.

The circular desk tuned out to provide more than just an optimum work space for him,  but also allowed for the comfortable conferencing of several clients at the same time.  The ’round table’ concept gave all the individuals equal footing  with the exception of the person at the center, you!
